Judgment and Hope

Isaiah 66 (New International Version)

Isaiah 66

13
As a mother comforts her child,
so will I comfort you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem."

Judgment and Hope

These are two words, we would not consider to be side by side

The mere thought of judgement is something serious.

It is often something everlasting in our lives,

whether we are judged, or have been judged,

Or, we fear being judged.

The word, "Judgment' brings a whole set of emotions with it.

When God speaks of judgement, it is fair. It may be in the harsh sense

because of the rebellion of His people throughout the Bible but it is applied when God's

wisdom says to apply it.

The word "judgement" alone drives oneself to the source of protection.

Often times the action, is to retreat but the real answer is to run forward to Jesus.

We find this is true as we read the Word of God and learn who the Savior really is.

He is Jesus.........

He is the Redeemer and the Savior, for protection from Judgement, of Our Sins by God.

Why could He do this? Because He paid the ultimate price and died on the cross for

our sins, in advance of many before they were even committed. He was the answer and

designated by God as the ultimate sacrifice. Without Jesus, Life would not be possible

with Him, eternal life is guaranteed.

If we should stand alone, before God, without a relationship with Jesus, God

would have no recourse but to pass full judgement for our sins. We would not

be covered by the protection of the Messiah, The Savior and The Redeemer of our

souls. If it were not for Jesus we would be alone.

Because of Him, we are provided with a alternative to going through this life alone

and without Hope. So I say to you today Judgement and Hope do walk hand in hand because

without hope there would surely be only judgement to look forward to.

So, Today, my simple prayer for the Soldiers is this.................

I pray that each and every Soldier does not concern themselves with

the duration of Judgement, but seek the Hope and they will find the

Holy One of Hope. They call Him Jesus.....
