The Highway

Isaiah 35:8 (New International Version)

⁸ And a highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness.
The unclean will not journey on it;
it will be for those who walk in that Way;
wicked fools will not go about on it.

Why Lord, "the little boy asked in prayer" ? Why does the teacher tell me No ? Why must I be so careful ? Why should I do the right thing ? None of the others do these things, I am told to do ! So, Why God, " Why should I be good " Why should I learn the good ways of doing things ?

Oftentimes, we ask God, In a childlike way why we must stand up straight and provide an example, or keep others from entering harms way. Why must we persevere to achieve compassion and character in our lives. Why must we endure hardships and witness turmoil and live through immense pain and loneliness.

It is because, God calls upon those who have been prepared to go the distance. God calls great people to action, He would never leave them to casually exist throughout their days.

It is for those who "Walk In That Way", so the unclean may see those who are chosen and the example of Godly things will be raised up high. It is for those who seek His way, because of the wisdom He is kindling in their soul to turn from a spark to a burning quest for His answers in their lives.

Bust mostly, those who are weak would never start the journey at all. They would simply turn away and find the easy road and often fall by the side to the jackals.

Wherever your head may rest and whatever your journey, God picked you to be in it, because you made the choice to take the first step.

He will never leave you, nor forsake you and "He" has equipped you to carry your duty perfectly. He never makes mistakes and He loves you through every step.
