Christmas 2011
At this time of the year If one is really quiet and stops for a moment and rests in the Lord, the sound of His coming may
come to them.
It is not with fantasy, or wild imagination I present these statements to you, they come to you, with fact.
The Lord tells us in His word, he will always be with us and so at this time of year when so many have Him in their
thoughts and then the many who need to, it is conceivable to say, "He is all around us".
I sat in silence today, for a little while and dreamed of what the shepherds in the field would see and hear very soon that
very night, as the heavenly hosts appeared.
I dreamed of being there as I gazed up to the stars on such a clear night and I slipped away to experience what this event
must have been like for so many.
I asked myself why it was not the same way today?
What must it have been like as the city of Bethlehem was set to a stir by the stories from those who hustled about with
excitement and amaze, for the coming of the promised King.
The promise of peace was for the heart, much more than the land. For the land would face many days of being presented
with the Gospel by our Lord Himself, all the way to the cross.
The heart would gain an immediate healing that night in Bethlehem.
As Jesus travelled, I will always remember a lady who was stirred by the amazing faith to reach longingly to touch just the
hemn of His garment and then know she was healed.
Remember what Jesus asked?, "who touched me"?
He aready knew but he had asked so others would know this woman's yearning
Her picture of desparation is what we should all feel in our desparation to praise Him, because He heals those who are sick,
without hope, desparate, hungry, longing for relief and dying .
Upon a starry night, "a child" was born, years later a man who walked among the commoners, who was also our Lord, was
placed on the cross after being tortured and beaten God died to himself to save the lost.
And from the moment He was Lord, he knew our hearts and He came for us, to save THIS lost world and spend eternity
with His children.
He was truly born that night in Bethlehem, He, is here !!
Christ, The King of Kings !!
Now, this night and for all the ages of suffering and not knowing, "they knew" Jesus Is Alive.
Life would never be the same for the land, for God had answered their pleas and God Himself performed the perfect
Miracle that night starry night in Bethlehem.
Miracles, are no surprise for any of us, we see them everyday.
Yet, we don't recognize them, or give Him praise until we stop at this time of year.....and dream...........for just a
moment..............There!!, There !!!......don't you you see HIM, ?
Merry Christmas !!!!
"Unto you a child is born, His name is Jesus !!!"

Luke 2
The Birth of Jesus
1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the
first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he
belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him
and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her
firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for
them.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord
appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them,
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a
Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in
cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and
see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
